Vintage Frame with Chicken Wire

Here is a simple project to fill in the empty walls of our 2 storey family room.. I picked up these great matching frames from my local ReStore last summer for only $5 each. I loved the linen matting.  See the full details below..
So I simply painted the wood frame in Annie Sloan White Chalk Paint then wiped away the excess and lightly sanded it for a subtle distressed look.
Inside the frame I staple gunned chicken wire that I picked up at my local dollarstore. 

Here is a picture of the empty walls in our Family room BEFORE.
The chicken wire added the vintage look I was craving and now the frames fill the empty spaces on our walls perfectly.
