This is my favourite style of decorating .. Relaxed coastal.. Adding little touches of nautical items throughout our home.. I try to minimize them during the off seasons of Fall and winter and really pop them back out during the Spring and summer.. Happy times ahead! Its a eclectic mix of woods, ropes, boats, coral and nautical touches.

Our Neutral Holiday House Tour
I always like to decorate with Neutrals and Vintage Decor. So for Christmas it was no different.. I incorporated lots of Burlap, Jute and wood throughout our home for a very natural organic feel.. Shall we say French Country Rustic Christmas.. The best part about decorating with neutrals is most of the decor can stay up once the Tree comes down ;) To keep the all the neutrals interesting, I used lots of glittery accents mixed with subtle touches of Red and Metallics. Now our Home feels warm and festive .. ready for the holiday season ahead.

The Office Reveal
Today I thought I'd take a break from all the Holiday Decor and share my Hubby's office.. It's a great private space for him to catch up on emails and conference calls.. His office is a more masculine version of my style ;)..Although the desk was a joint collaboration! I found the desk with a friend probably a year before we bought it.. I knew it was perfect.. But it was a bit expensive .. so with some persuading he finally agreed it was AMAZING too!! The Office is full of VINTAGE items.. I love using vintage so no two rooms will ever look the same. Check out Our Office Reveal below...

Our Neutral Christmas Mantel
The Christmas Reveals continue.. Here is our Family Room Mantel. We kept it simple and a little Rustic thanks to the use of Burlap, Jute and Wood accents.
So our mantel is part of this built-in drywall media unit.. For one of our open displays I used wood planks with a painted deer head, hand painted by moi.. we placed it over our wooden sailboat art. I added a Large wooden glittery star (Homesense) and a glass jar full of Metal Chain linked garland (Homesense)

Our French Country Christmas Decorating Sneak Peek!
It snowed here today for the first time so I felt it was appropriate to share a sneak peek of our Home's holiday decor. It's a mix of French country inspired, Rustic decor. When decorating I try to always use more natural materials for a casual look... So for Christmas it was no different. I used a mix of Greenery, Wood, Wicker, Burlap and Jute. Then to soften all the wooden accents and increase the holiday feel I added touches of Metallic, like Gold and Silver with go-to classics like red and white. See below for more details.
This is just a sneak peek on Our Christmas Decorating Ideas for this year and what I will be posting over the next few weeks.. It was way too many picture's for 1 or even 2 posts.. So I will be breaking down each post to individual rooms for a more in depth tour of our home. Stay tuned for the Full Reveal. If you missed our Previous Home's Christmas decorating, you can see it here.
Here is a quick peek of our Tree decorated in neutral holiday decor wrapped in a Rustic Wicker Star Vine Garland. For a Tree base I used a antique galvanized tin bucket with a Ruffled Burlap and Muslin Tree skirt to complete the look.

Summer Flower Displays ~ Table Centrepiece ideas

The Apples are Fake!! Could you tell?? I think they look and feel very real! They are from Pier 1 a few years back. The planked wooden tray is a vintage flea market find for $1. The white vase, white bowl and Wicker Tray are all from Homesense. The Salt and Pepper shakers were a gift. Hope you Enjoy.
