Basement Hall Reveal

A few days ago I shared our Bar Area reveal, so many sweet comments.. Thank you so much!! For today I am sharing the rest of the space.. Its all connected and open. To help with the flow I kept the colour scheme neutral. We designed the whole basement floor plan.. and tried to make the most of every space. See Below for how we decorated our Basement Nook and Hallway.
Behind this wall of the settee is our furnace room, if we didn't make use of the indentation in the hall it would have been wasted space. By creating a seating nook it helped widen the space and really open up the hall area.

The mirror was a unique shape but was ugly black plastic.. so I recovered it in a thin natural rope. The maps are art I have had forever. The shell art was made by me. I found this great distressed frame from Homesense for $12 then used a scrap piece of white burlap and glued 3 shells on it. poof done. Coastal artwork for under $15.
I fell in love with this settee daybed also at Homesense.. It was out of my price range but after a month or so it was still there and finally marked down! Lets just say it was my 30th birthday present from my hubby! ;) A little seating nook provides a comfy spot to relax..
The pillows are all natural fabrics like burlap and muslin, available at my moms Etsy shop.
This is our view down the hall. I am hoping to find a thin vintage console table for under the clock while antiquing this summer.. as my rustic crate really isn't proportionate for the space, but it does the job for now.
The before flooring photo of our hall gives you a better idea of the size of our seating nook indentation and hall.
The gallery pictures hanging on the wall are all the Ikea Ribba Frames... with beautiful shots of our daughter from our first family vacation.
At the end of the hall hangs this clock, it's made to look aged and rustic but its faux wood and distressed metal.
All the flooring is Luxury Vinyl plank by Beaulieu.
