Family Room Summer Decor

First let me say I know this post is a little late coming.. But I finally had the time to switch up some of our decor the other day so I thought I'd share it anyway..hopefully it can still provide some kind of summer decor inspiration.. Summer for me is all about the nautical coastal look with fresh tones of blues and whites and lots of natural materials.

Our Family Room Lately

Just before I show you our family room decorated for Fall later this week I thought I'd share how it has been looking for the last few months.. I was meaning to share this earlier ;(.. It's just been quite a hectic summer... So this year I decided to switch up the colour scheme in our family room just a little bit.. Though I LOVED last years Navy Summer theme.. Summer changes to our Master bedroom

With summer upon us, I felt it was time to change up our bedroom colour scheme a little bit.. shall we say lighter and brighter... So I went with mellow yellow theme. First of all let me say those who follow me know I'm not big on colour, I'm a very neutral girl at heart. But this summer I thought I'd brighten things up and I have to tell you I'm actually loving it! Check out our bedroom below..
