So I know this is a bit late.. but before I share our Full Summer Home decor I thought I would share our Eating area in our kitchen for the last month or so. I did some simple, quick changes to help tie it in to our adjoining Family Room Coastal decor. I love the fact that its open concept but it can make cohesive decorating challenging. Here our some things I do seasonally to help breath new life into our home and recycle my decor.. see the details below...
Simple ways I update our decor in the Kitchen Eating Area seasonally:
1) New Table Runner
2) New Centrepiece Or new Bowl FILLER
3) Changing up any Display space with different eye candy
4) Adding a new Chalkboard quote
5) Changing up the decor on our sideboard in kitchen
The Antiques sign is actually hung in our Family room, But its part of the sight line into our kitchen eating area so I just had to include it!
The wooden planter box is full of mason jars with baby's breath and white glass candles.
Keeping natural elements is key, the large canvas boat sets the tone with the addition of the metal lantern and driftwood ball.
Our new secretary desk looks great in its new spot under our white open shelving at the back of our Kitchen.
I kept our antique dough bowl as our centrepiece cause I absolutely LOVE it! To freshen things up .. I filled it this time with a mix of different sized white seashell decorative balls.. Nothing is better than white shells to add to the subtle coastal vibe and brighten things up on our table.
If you missed it, You can see our Spring to Summer Coastal Family Room HERE
So so stunning! I love the chalkboard and those gorgeous shelves and perfect summer accessories! Sharing this over at my facebook page!
