Our Summer Dining Room

I had a ton of fun creating our Summer Dining room.. I got to decorate our newly made over Farm Table. I kept it soft and coastal with touches of light blue. See the full reveal below..
If you missed our Farm house Table Makeover .. You can see it HERE
Our simple coastal display consisted of 2 glass hurricane vases with simple white pillar candles, and a metal bowl that I picked up at a thrift store for $7, I filled it with burlap pears and burlap rag balls. But I felt it needed more...
I added these little white shells to the hurricane vases
Then I decided to set the table for lunch, I started with a rattan plate charger, added a antique plate,  and topped it with linen napkins.
I wrapped the linen napkin with a scrap piece of light denim material to tie in with the blues of the plate and the rest of our homes Summer decor.
I topped the linen napkins with a real mini hydrangea head.
Gotta love a simple and inexpensive bowl filler.. It's so multi purpose.. $12.99 for 6 burlap rag / jute balls at Homesense recently. They will be great for fall but I felt the natural elements worked with our summer look and the ceramic starfish just makes it Summer! ;)
The inside of our dining hutch features all our blue and white dishes and fine china.

  1. It's really beautiful, Lisa. I would love to come in out of the heat and eat lunch there - let me know when it's ready, okay? ☺️
