Our Summer Living Room
The blue theme continued throughout our main floor into our Living room.. not sure if its my little guy growing inside me that's making me go a little BLUE CRAZY! But I like it! I have always loved soft aqua blue's and greens so I ended up using a lot of decor items from our old guest bedroom A.K.A baby James future nursery.. So its nice that my pretty decor items had a new home to go to. See our full living room reveal below..

Summer changes to our Master bedroom
With summer upon us, I felt it was time to change up our bedroom colour scheme a little bit.. shall we say lighter and brighter... So I went with mellow yellow theme. First of all let me say those who follow me know I'm not big on colour, I'm a very neutral girl at heart. But this summer I thought I'd brighten things up and I have to tell you I'm actually loving it! Check out our bedroom below..

Antique tool box into planter Makeover
I recently purchased this huge antique tool box from an online auction. I think I may have slightly over paid at $31. BUT I just loved that it came with a separate lift out tray and that it was super long 3ft to be exact. I have wanted one for my porch for a while now. So to help protect it from watering. I lined it with foil. then filled it with soil and Asylum flowers. I bought a whole tray of flowers for $12 from local garden centre. They are an annual ground cover, but to be honest I just bought them because they were white and pretty. I just love white if you haven't noticed. I kept the tray out so I can use it for another project down the road.

Outdoor Harvest Table Makeover
This was a fun and FAST transformation.. It took me under 2 hrs to paint everything.. Thanks to my daughter taking an extended nap! First we lightly sanded the wood. I didn't use a primer (Mostly because I am just lazy and impatient!). I just bought a really good exterior paint.. Benjamin Moore Aura exterior in a nice flat finish. I painted one Full coat and then just went around and did some touch ups where ever it needed it. I can't say enough good things about this paint, It went on smooth with superior coverage. 1 coat almost covered everything for me. It dried fairly fast but was still a bit tacky a day later probably due to painting on a humid sunny day or maybe because I applied the paint a little thicker? Take a look below to see the full transformation...

Farm Table Makeover
I have literally be coveting a Antique Farm table for years now. I was constantly on the lookout for one whether it be antique markets, Kijiji, Craig's list, and honestly you can find them but the price is always out of my range, upwards of $1000+.. So FINALLY I found this amazing Oak farm table with thicker pedestal legs .. and the best part is it was $70!!! OK its not Antique but it is solid wood and it has a ton of character so It will definitely check the box until I can afford a TRUE ANTIQUE table. The top does need some refinishing its in rough shape but the base and drawers are great shape. They were originally painted black. So I painted them in Annie Sloan chalk paint in Old White.
